Donations

Trinity depends on the support of its friends to continue our ministry.  Without you, we would not be able to do what we do.  Thank you!  If you want to learn more about what a donation to Trinity helps us do, check out our “Why Should I Support Trinity?” page.

Donate On-line

Trinity can receive donations by e-transfer to trinityu@mts.net.    If you wish your donation to go to a specific Fund, please specify that in your e-transfer.  Trinity is also a member of Canada Helps which enables you to make on-line donations to registered Canadian charities using a credit or debit card.  If you would like to donate right now, check out our page at Canada Helps.  If you want your donation to go to the regular operating expenses of the congregation, select General Fund; if you wish to support maintenance on our historic building select Building Fund; if you wish to make a donation to worship and Christian Education work in memory of someone select Memorial Fund.

Donate In Person

Each Sunday and at most special services, we take up an offering as part of our worship service.  You can put cash or cheques in the plate as it is passed any Sunday.  So that we can issue you a tax receipt for your donation at yearend, we encourage you to put your offering in an envelope.  For one time donors, visitor’s envelopes are available at the ushers’ stations.  If you would like you own box of numbered envelopes for regular use, please let our office administrator know (trinityu@mts.net or 204-857-4471) and she will get some for you.

Cash and cheques can also be dropped off at the church any time during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9 to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.) as well as other times by chance.  We are also able to accept donations via credit or debit card over the phone. Again, please make sure we have your name and address so we can credit you for your donation at tax-time.

Donate by Auto-Withdrawal

Many people find it easiest to set-up a monthly donation to the church that comes out of their bank automatically each month.  This ensures that your donation makes it to church even on Sundays when other commitments mean you need to be elsewhere.  If you are interested in Pre-Authorized Withdrawal, please contact our office administrator (trinityu@mts.net or 204-857-4471) and she will happily walk you through the process of getting set-up.  Once you have PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance) set-up you can make changes to it at any time, quickly and easily, simply by contacting the church office.
