Also in Our Building

We are delighted to be able to share our historic building with a number of other community groups and organizations so that this building which was constructed and maintained with such loving care to serve the Portage la Prairie community continues to be hopping with activity not just on Sundays but every day of the week.

We have two permanent tenants who use portions of the West Wing of the church building throughout the year.

Portage Ukrainian Nursery School

Nursery SchoolPortage Ukrainian Nursery School has the upstairs portion of the West Wing and shares use of the auditorium with the congregation.  They operate on Tuesdays through Fridays throughout the school year.  It is delightful to hear the sounds of children at play in our building on a regular basis.  If you are looking for them try the green door off the parking lot and head upstairs.  They can be reached at 204-857-7485 or portageukrns@icloud.com.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Portage la Prairie

Big Brothers Big SistersBig Brothers and Big Sisters of Portage la Prairie have offices in the lower portion of the West Wing and share use of the parlour, kitchen and auditorium with the congregation.  You can access their offices through the purple door located at the far west-end of the building (near 1st street).  Their mission is to provide support and growth opportunities for children and youth by connecting them with adult mentors in one-on-one as well as small group settings.  You can find out more about their exciting programming at the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Portage la Prairie website.
